Patrons can renew items and place holds over the web. Search results can be refined or sorted by relevance. Searches can be expanded to other online resources such as Google Scholar.

This next generation digital library system adheres to industry-accepted standards such as MARC, MARCXML, Dublin Core, RSS/Atom, EndNote, OpenURL, Z39.50, UNICODE, and SIP2.

Since the core of the ILS is built using open source software, it is governed by the GNU General Public License - there is no fee associated with the ILS.

PTFS provides hosting services for the software system and library data is in a secure data facility. You don't need to buy server hardware or software. All you need is a web browser.
